Morning Star is our Sunday school class. We are an adult class associated with The First Baptist Church in Harlingen, Texas.  Harlingen is located in the Rio Grande Valley area in deep South Texas

Morning Star's main focus is to open, read and study the Bible as often and as thorough as possible. We have developed an energy that seems to have a life of its own. This energy seems to expand with each meeting. As our objectives (which are very dynamic) continue to develop,  our purpose seems to increase.  The following is a partial, but ever growing list of our goals:

• First and foremost; open and study of The Bible.

•  

• Develop focus groups.  Small gatherings that meet once a week for Bible study in addition to the normal Sunday School classes at the Church.

•  

• Help others reach people for Christ.  We have adopted some (what we call) missions. We all attempt to contribute to these missions on a weekly basis to further their work.

•  

• We encourage people to join us and/or visit our class. All are welcomed without question.

There is no pressure applied to anybody. We welcome all input to the class, study group, and even our web site. So, if you have some comments, prayer requests, praises, or questions, feel free to visit our guest book and send them to us. If you request they be published, we will include them on the site where the guest book can be viewed.

I, the webmaster, would really like to see many of you join our group on the "net". We will welcome you as if you were sitting here with us. Just let me know. Also, if you need us to pray for you, please feel free to send us your request and you will have many people praying on your behalf. We have seen miraculous events take place. We give our praise to the Lord that made these events take place. You don’t have to have a special need to join us just let me know and you will be included just like you walked in the door.
